I am a current member of the CFM, local 10-208. 

I attended UCLA   (University of Chicago Located on Austin) and earned a BA Degree from Northeastern University.

After college I worked for a time with various bands, performing Rock, Pop and R&B music at many night spots around the Chicago area. Today I continue with my musical endeavors as both a hobby and sideline. I enjoy collecting vintage instruments, playing trumpet as well as experimenting with computer generated music accompaniments. My musical associations include playing as a sideman with The Revolutionary Swing Orchestra, vocalist  Bob Duda, The Jay Witcher Orchestra, The Ron Smolen Orchestra and The Ken Roberts Orchestra. These groups provide traditional Big Band Swing Music in the area, performing at various clubs, ballrooms, park concerts and outside events such as "Chicago's Summer Dance".

   I have also had the opportunity to play in the pit orchestras for many live musical productions in the Chicago area. Musical theater production company's include Music on Stage. 

Musicals include: Annie, Bye Bye Birdie, Chicago, City of Angles, Hello Dolly, My Fair Lady, Singing in the Rain, Wizard of OZ, Guys and Dolls, A Chorus Line and most recent, Seussical, the musical, based on the Dr. Seuss books.

 

 

  

Software used on audio recordings includes Cubase and Power Tracks Pro Audio. Equipment used includes a home brew Pentium4 system, Yamaha ST5 personal studio, EMU 0404, Alesis Nanocompressor, Presonus TubePre, Creative Audigy Sound Blaster, Shure SM57 and Audio Technica 4033a microphones.  Instruments used includes Spectra and Roland keyboards, vintage horns include 1916, 1921 Conn "New Wonder" cornets, 1921 Conn 4B, 1928 King Liberty Silvertone, 1947 F. Besson Trumpets. Piano Tracks provided by Steve Sandner are on duo recordings only.
